Enjoying Islam with Zain and Dawud - Lets Rejoice Its Eid ul-Fitr
Assalamu Alaikum kids it will be Eid in no time, hope you'll have been
doing lots of good deeds. InshaAllah May Allah Ta'ala accept all your
good deeds Ameen.
You must be all excitedly waiting for Eid, but don't forget the night
before Eid, according to a hadith Abu Umamah رضى الله عنه relates
from Rasoolullah صلى الله عليه وسلم , ''A person who stays awake on
the two nights of Eid ( Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha ) hoping for reward,
then his heart will not die on the Day when people's hearts
will die (day of Qiyamah).'' Ibn Majah
And also in another hadith Rasoolullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said that on the
last night of Ramadhan the fasting persons are forgiven ( the night
before the day of Eid is called the night of prize giving, the night when
Allah Ta'ala gives the true reward ).
InshaAllah to practice on this good deed you can stay up little longer
than you normally wait up or you can get up really early before dawn,
and make lots of dua for mummy, daddy, brothers ,sisters, grandparents,
uncles, aunts cousins, friends, teachers, all the Muslims and last but not
least, Me and my family !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In preparing for Eid, you must help mum with the household chores as
this is a special occasion and everyone will have lots of work to do.
